The Mary Wollstonecraft Philosophical Society was born out of the first Wollapalooza celebration of Wollstonecraft’s philosophy in San Francisco in 2017. Its purpose is to connect scholars across the world who are engaged with the historical work women in philosophy – particularly but not exclusively on Mary Wollstonecraft and related thinkerss – informing each other about their work, publicising events and conferences and bringing people together.
